LEXINGTON, KY (NSUWolves.com) — The United States Marine Corps and the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced today the USMC/AVCA Team Academic Awards, with Northern State University honored. The award, initiated in the 1992–93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale.
This is the tenth consecutive year that the volleyball program has been honored and 19th overall. The Wolves posted semester grade point averages of 3.57 in the fall and 3.63 in the spring.
