Aberdeen, SD (NSUWolves.com) – Northern State University head coach Rocky Burkett announced four additions to the 2025-26 wrestling roster today. Gage Anderson (Lemmon, S.D.), Mason Schremp (Aberdeen, S.D.), Calder Sheehan (Rochester, Minn.), and Jacob Williams (Rapid City, S.D.) will join the Wolves in the fall of 2025.
Gage Anderson – 149, Lemmon, S.D. / Lemmon HS
Gage Anderson is a 149-pounder out of Lemmon High School. He is a 6-year starter and team captain for the Cowboys under the direction of head coach TJ Bartell. Anderson is a 6-time state qualifier, taking fourth in 2023 and fifth in 2024. He is the son of Jack Anderson.
Mason Schrempp – 157, Aberdeen, S.D. / Central HS
Mason Schrempp is a 157-pounder out of Aberdeen Central High School. He is a 5-year starter and team captain for the Golden Eagles under the direction of head coach Donnie Bowden. Schrempp is a 4-time South Dakota state placer and postseason nationals All-American. He is both an All-ESD and All-State selection. As a junior, Schrempp placed third at the State Tournament, while CHS took third in dual competition. He is the son of Ricki Link.
Calder Sheehan – 149, Rochester, Minn. / Rochester Mayo HS
Calder Sheehan is a 149-pounder out of Rochester Mayo High School. He is a 5-year starter and team captain for the Spartans under the direction of head coach Art Trimble. Sheehan is a 4-time all-conference selection, 2-time state placer, 2-time all-state recipient, and was a finalist for the All-Area wrestler of the year. Sheehan holds a career record of 166-42 currently. He is the son of Jill and Bob Sheehan.
Jacob Williams – 157, Rapid City, S.D. / Stevens HS
Jacob Williams is a 157-pounder out of Stevens High School. He is a 3-year starter and team captain for the Raiders under the direction of head coach Travis King. Williams tallied 72 victories in 2023 and 2024, winning the South Dakota State Championship as a junior. He is the son of Jennifer and William Williams.
