NSU’s Cramer Center receive funding from Knight Foundation & Aberdeen Foundation

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Aberdeen City Manager Robin Bobzien announced at Monday’s City Council meeting that Northern State’s Cramer Center would be receiving funds from both the Knight Foundation & Aberdeen Foundation.

Councilwoman Erin Fouberg(who is also NSU’s Associate VP for Academic Affairs) describes what the Cramer Center is.

Fouberg describes what the funding will be used for.

Fouberg encourage everyone to take a look at the location & credits the man it’s name for.

Fouberg also shared that Auburn University is excited to learn from NSU.

The building is named after James Cramer who was an NSU graduate back in 1969 and is the former CEO of The American Institute of Architects in Washington, D.C., and is a faculty lecturer at Georgia Institute of Technology, where he teaches the popular course Entrepreneurship in Professional Practice.

Cramer has been an outspoken advocate and supporter of the undergraduate and graduate education programs at Northern State University.
