Jamestown, ND (NSUWolves.com) – The Northern State cross country teams placed 4th for the women and 6th for the men at the Jimmie invitational meet. Women ran a team average of 24:06.1 for the 6k and men ran an average of 26:22.6 for the 8K
MEN’S HIGHLIGHTS
- The men’s team was led by Nathan Alto with a time of 25:21.0, an average pace of 5:06 per mile landing him a 4th place finish
- Josh Martin followed closely behind in 5th place with a time of 25:24.8 (5:07 pace)
- Jonathan Burkhalter, Evan Halbe, and Ricky Berndt rounded out the team scores with times of 26:49.3, 26:56.4, and 27:21.2
WOMEN’S HIGHLIGHTS
- Megan Pickering won the race with a time of 22:27.3, a pace of 6:02 per mile beating out the next place finisher by only two seconds
- Kenzie Hamann was 13th with a time of 23:17.3 (6:15 pace)
- Avery Murray, Adisen Stadem, and Jenna Helms finished with times of 23:56.9, 24:55.5, and 25:53.3
