Numbers continue to take a hit at Aberdeen Regional Airport, Rideline

ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The traffic numbers continue to plummet in Aberdeen due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Rich Krokel, Transportation Director for the city, said that numbers are way down at the Aberdeen Regional Airport.

As a result, Aberdeen is down to just one flight per day.

Things have gotten a little bit better for Rideline, but the numbers are still down substantially compared to the past.

Krokel said that Rideline delivers Meals on Wheels two days per week. He said that rides will again be available for youth going to summer programs. Krokel also noted that people are can start signing up for rides to school next year, although priority will now be given to those who ride five days a week.
