ELLENDALE, N.D. (AP) — An Oakes man accused of sending sexually explicit messages to a young girl has changed his plea to guilty in Dickey County.

Thirty-three-year-old Ryan Lee Marthaller entered the plea to a felony charge of luring a minor by computer or electronic device. A complaint says Marthaller also asked the 13-year-old girl last June to send him nude photos. KQDJ reports the charge against him carries facing a maximum sentence of 5 years in prison and a fine of $10,000.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled Aug. 27 at the Dickey County Courthouse in Ellendale.
