ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and there are many ways to help out.

Amy Blackstone of the Avera Foundation said the month is full of fun activities to help raise awareness.

She said one of the unique ways to help is to wear a strand of pink hair.

Dairy Queen is also getting in on the fun.

Blackstone said that many stores will also have pink boots where individuals can donate their spare change.

Blackstone said that one business owner in particular is a big supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness.
