Officials concerned about James River flooding next spring

MITCHELL, S.D. (KMIT) – State transportation officials are concerned about the James River and issues it could cause this spring. The topic was discussed at yesterday’s Davison County Commission meeting. Commission Chair Brenda Bode said she recently spoke with a DOT official about the river.

She says the state is reaching out to the counties and asking what they need.

The James River issue was brought up during the citizens input portion of yesterday’s Davison County Commission meeting.
