WAUBAY, S.D. (Press Release) – Strong southerly winds are blowing snow off of Bitter Lake and across Yellowstone Trail in Waubay, creating deep snow drifts along this road and it may become impassable as the day goes on.

Waubay Officials are encouraging motorists not to travel along Yellowstone Trail at this time. The deep snow may cause your vehicle to become stuck and it will be difficult for first responders to get to you.
