AMES, Iowa (WNAX) – Weather experts are watching for trends that may point to more flooding next spring.
Dennis Todey with the Midwest Climate Hub (in Ames Iowa) says they are seeing some conditions this fall similar to last year.
Todey says there may be more planting delays next spring.
Todey says the trend into early spring will be the one to watch.
Severe flooding hit much of the northern plains this year and many rivers are still at or above flood stage.
