ABERDEEN, S.D. (APD Press Release) – At approximately 4:08 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25 Aberdeen Police responded to the 1100 block of S Washington Street for the report of a shooting.
Police discovered an unresponsive male that had been shot multiple times. The male was transported to Avera St. Luke’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The male is being taken to Grand Forks, ND for an autopsy.
No danger exists to the public as police have identified the shooter. This investigation continues with the assistance of the Brown County Sheriff’s Office and the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation.
