WATERTOWN, S.D.(KXLG) —  A boating accident Thursday morning in Clark County about 10 a.m. has taken the life a man who, as Thursday afternoon, has not been identified pending notification of relatives.  Dave Lewis is the Clark County Emergency Management Director and Incident Commander.

The accident happened during a heavy downpour when there was poor visibility on the lake.

The names of the victim and injured won’t be released until the next of kin has been notified.  He says that both of the injured men were transferred to Prairie Lakes Hospital at Watertown by Watertown Ambulance.

Helping with the accident today were the Clark County Sheriff, Clark County Emergency Management, and Clark Police Department, Clark County Emergency Management, Clark Fire and Ambulance, South Dakota Game Fish And Parks along with Watertown Fire Rescue,
