LEOLA, S.D.(Press Release) – One man died early Monday morning in a one-vehicle crash west of Leola.
The name of the one person involved is not being released pending notification of family members.
Preliminary crash information indicates a 2010 Kenworth T600 semi-truck and trailer was eastbound on South Dakota Highway 10 when the vehicle went off the roadway and rolled.
The 38-year-old driver later died as a result of his injuries at an Aberdeen hospital. He was wearing a seat belt.
South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. All information released so far is only preliminary.
The Highway Patrol is part of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
