Online classes pose issues with certain majors

BROOKINGS, S.D. (WNAX) – University students in South Dakota will finish up the spring semester with online classes. That works for some but not all majors.

SDSU President Barry Dunn says there are issues with their health science and pharmacy classes.

Dunn says they will do what they can to help students stay on track.

Dunn says the collapsing job market may force students back to the university.

Graduation ceremonies scheduled for May have been canceled. Dunn says there is some discussion of bringing back the December graduation to honor this year’s seniors.
