ABERDEEN, S.D. (Press Release) – Aberdeen Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department and the Aberdeen Optimist Club are sponsoring a Family Free Throw Contest. The contest will be held at the Aberdeen Civic Arena on Tuesday, March 19. Registration will be from 6:30-7:00 PM with the contest beginning at 7:00 PM.

The contest will be divided into the following categories: boys and girls 8 and under; 9-10; 11-12; and 13-14, as well as father/son, father/daughter, mother/daughter, mother/son, brother/sister, husband/wife, and family teams. Children participating with parents must be 14 years old or younger.

There is no fee to participate.
