ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The 2025 Out of the Darkness Walk is schedule for this Saturday at the Odde Ice Center at the Brown County Fairgrounds.

The mission of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. AFSP’s Out of the Darkness Walks have built a movement to raise awareness and fight this leading cause of death. Walking together allows the community to send the message that you are never alone, that healing is possible, and when we connect, we share hope.

Registration begins at 9:15AM with the opening ceremonies at 10AM.  The walk will begins shortly after that.  This event is for people of all ages.

There will be a free light lunch and raffle prizes to follow.

The goal is to raise $95,000 for the cause.
