KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WNAX) – Now that Tropical Depression Cristóbal has moved out of the region, it appears summer like weather will be the dominant trend.
Doug Kluck, the Climate Services Director for the National Weather Service in Kansas City, says the outlook for the Missouri River basin looks to be warmer.
Kluck says precipitation changes diminish some.
Kluck says they expect Pacific Ocean surface temperatures to become more active in the months ahead.
Kluck gave the outlook as part of the Corps of Engineers monthly update.
