Parent express concerns about COVID-19 vaccines for children

YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- Kids ages five to eleven can now get the Pfizer brand of Covid-19 vaccines.

Yankton pediatrician, Dr Dawn Larson says she has been hearing worries from parents about their kids getting the shots.

Larson says the vaccines appear to be very effective in children.

Larson says it appears that kids tolerate the side effects of the vaccine better than adults.

The Pfizer vaccine is a two-shot procedure, with the second vaccination three weeks after the first one.
