ABERDEEN, S.D. (Press Release) – The Aberdeen Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department is requesting all city residents operating recreational vehicles (snowmobiles, ATV’s, 4-wheel drive vehicles) to please refrain from operating those vehicles in any parks, recreation and forestry areas.  Those areas off-limits to all-terrain vehicles and snowmobiles are all city-maintained parks, athletic complexes, recreational trails, Lee Park Golf Course, Riverside Memorial Cemetery, Kuhnert Arboretum and city tree nurseries.

In addition, vehicles and foot traffic should stay off of groomed cross country ski trails located at Manor Park and Lee Park Golf Course.

Operation of snowmobiles and recreational vehicles on the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Grounds is a violation of city ordinances.
