YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- People and equipment from Lake Area Technical College in Watertown filled the CM-TEA building in Yankton Thursday to show off high tech education.
LuAnn Strait, Director of Student Services at LATC, says it is their first “Mini-Maker Camp”.
Strait says they were giving students a wide range of experiences.
Strait says they are looking for students who can fill badly needed jobs.
High school students from southeast South Dakota and northeast Nebraska were invited to take part in the “Mini-Maker Camp”.
