ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Citizens residing around the Richmond Lake area went to the Brown County Commission meeting Tuesday requesting to see improvements made on Brown County Highway 13A.

Spokeman Neil Bellikka talks about needing a guard rail on the road that goes along the lake.

Brown County Highway Superintendent Dirk Rogers responded to that.

Brown County Commissioner Duane Sutton & Rogers acknowledge this is the list of things the SDDOT is looking at.

The people from Richmond Lake feels that the county is ignoring their requests, Rogers dispute that claim.

District 3 Representative Carl Perry talks about the upcoming budget will be much tighter than it has been the last couple of years.

Another thing the citizens would like to see done is milling the road.  Rogers offered his opinion on that.

Bellikka express his disappointment on where his property taxes are going toward Brown County.

The Brown County took no action Tuesday.  They plan on revisiting this topic on Tuesday, November 21st.
