PIERRE, S.D. (Press Release) – A Pierre man has been identified as the person who died Saturday night in a one-vehicle crash in Pierre.

A 2004 Honda Odyssey was northbound when the vehicle went over the curb and hit a tree.

The driver, 42-year-old Aaron Clark, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt.

South Dakota’s Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash. All information is only preliminary at this point.

The Highway Patrol is part of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
