Pierre Regional Airport adds new temporary stop

PIERRE, S.D. (KCCR) – Pierre’s flight to Denver, Colorado through the Essential Air Service program is going through a temporary change due to the coronavirus. Pierre City Commissioner and Airport Liaison Jamie Huizenga says SkyWest Airlines, who operates as a United Express carrier, added a new temporary stop.

The temporary flight scheduled change is expected to be in place at least through June 3.

The new flight times will have the plane leaving Pierre at 9:10 a.m. and arriving in Denver by 10:45 a.m. including the stop in Scottsbluff. The flight back from Denver leaves the Mile High City at 6:15 p.m. and touches down in the Capital City at 9:52 p.m. Arrivals and departures from Scottsbluff, Nebraska are not included.
