PIERRE, S.D.(KCCR)- Schools across South Dakota continue to struggle to get to full staffing before classes begin soon. Pierre School Superintendent Kelly Glodt says the Pierre School District is no different, but they are finding a way to make things work.
At a recent meeting of school administrators in Sioux Falls Glodt says some extreme measures are being used in other states to fill staffing holes.
Glodt says some solutions to staffing in Pierre are coming from the staff themselves.
The first day of school in the Pierre District is August 18th.
