PIERRE, S.D. (DRG News) – No cases of the coronavirus have been detected in South Dakota, but the Pierre School District is still taking precautions.
Supt. Dr. Kelly Glodt updated the school board at Monday nights’s meeting saying the district is seeing a higher amount of influenza than it normally does.
Glodt says school custodians have been hyper vigilant about cleaning and will continue to be. He says the school also sent a reminder to parents and guardians about having good hygiene, washing hands correctly and keeping students home if they’re sick.
