HURON, S.D. (WNAX) – Even as temperatures drop, there isn’t much concern about natural gas supplies.

Tom Glanzer with Northwestern Energy, says they have had their winter supply lined up for several months.

Glanzer says they don’t have many worries about supply or price anymore.

Glanzer says they know demand can jump sharply.

Glanzer says they contract for gas on delivery and don’t have much of their own storage.

Wholesale natural gas prices are now under $2 per million BTUs.
