SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- A burglar is now starting his penance for opening up people’s cars while they are at church and then burglarizing their homes.

Sioux Falls Police Officer Sam Clemens explains how even at church, you and your unlocked vehicle are not safe.

A burglar was going through an unlocked car Sunday, check the registration, went to the house, and used the garage door opener to get in.

Clemens remids the citizens to lock your vehicles when it’s unoccupied.

Sioux Falls Police arrested 39-year-old Dean Eric Moss. Moss is charged with burglary & grand theft.
