OMAHA, N.E.(WNAX)- This Saturday is another National Prescription Drug Take Back day.
Mike Casale, a special agent with the regional Drug Enforcement Agency Office in Omaha says it’s a good way to get drugs out of circulation.
Casale says turning the drugs in is safer and less hazardous than throwing them away or flushing them down the toilet.
Casale says people shouldn’t fear returning any type of prescription drugs.
There are return sites in every state and can be found by searching out the DEA online.
Aberdeen’s location is the Aberdeen Police Department from 10AM-2PM.
