YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- President Biden issued a warning this week that evolving intelligence indicates potential expanded cyberattacks against critical US infrastructure.
South Dakota Bankers Association President Karl Adam was in Washington a week ago and says banks are very aware of those potential threats.
Adam says banks and other businesses have to enhance their security.
Adam says they have also sent out alerts to their member banks.
The Biden Administration has said its possible Russia could step up the cyber pressure and target banks, the electric grid, water plants and hospitals.
