ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release)- Todd Jordre, the Northern State University (NSUF) President & CEO has announced his retirement effective April 16th. Jordre has served as President and CEO since 2004, and stated, “Having served 17 years as President & CEO, I feel this is the right time for a leadership change. It has been my privilege to serve the NSUF. I am proud of the accomplishments and growth of the NSUF and what the organization has done to assist in the growth of the University.”
Under Jordre’s leadership the NSUF has grown exponentially. The endowment supporting primarily student scholarships has grown from $7 million to $32 million today. Jordre was instrumental in capital campaigns for $3.2, $15, $30 and $62 million dollars. Established during his tenure, the “WolfPact” scholarship now provides over $1 million dollars annually and the Wolves Club and athletic fundraising has continued to grow every year.
Overall, in 17 years the NSUF has raised over $150 million in support of the University. Beyond the successes at the NSUF Jordre has given countless hours of time in support of other organizations in Aberdeen. He has participated on the Board of Directors at Junior Achievement in Aberdeen, the Aberdeen Family YMCA and Absolutely Aberdeen.

We wish him all the best in the future!,” stated Michael Bockorny, the Chairman of the Board of the NSUF.
