PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- The South Dakota Senate will sit as a jury next month in the impeachment trial of Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg.

Long time legislative observer Dave Owen, President of the state Chamber of Commerce and Industry, says Senators are hearing about it.

Owen says people should pay attention to the process.

Owen says he expects the Senate to approach the issue differently than the House.

Ravnsborg was impeached by the House in connection with his actions after he hit and killed Joe Boever near Highmore in September of 2020.
