SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — President Trump was a surprise guest in Sioux Falls Wednesday night – by way of a special video.

Trump praised the late Gene Abdallah at the annual Law Enforcement Appreciation and Fundraising Dinner that Abdallah started.

Trump did the video as a favor for Governor Kristi Noem to surprise the Abdallah family, who attended the dinner.

Abdallah, a veteran state lawmaker, and U.S. Marshal died earlier this month at the age of 83.

In the video, Trump said, maybe, the July 4th fireworks show next year at Mount Rushmore could do something special for Abdallah.
