Preview of 100th Legislative Session(District 1)

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Coming up on Tuesday will be the start of the 100th session of the South Dakota Legislature. Members of District 1(Senator Michael Rohl, Representative-Elects Christopher Reder & Logan Manhart).

About month and a half ago, there was concerns about the health status of Christopher Reder leading to this session. Reder clarifies that he plans to represent the citizens of District 1.

Representative Tony Venhuizen has introduced a bill(HB1019) looking to lower property taxes but also would raise the state sales tax to 5%. District 1 legislators each addressed it.
