ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The first meeting of the Aberdeen School Board for the 2026-27 school year will be taking place on Monday.

They will be swearing in three members of the School Board(Brian Sharp, Aaron Schulz, and Elliot Gall)

They will also vote on who will be President & Vice President of the Board for the upcoming year.

This will all be apart of the annual Organization of the School Board.

Superintendent Dr. Becky Guffing will address bus contract with other communities(Frederick, Groton, Northwestern, and Warner).

They will also address a policy revision addressing absenteeism.

The meeting begins at 5:30pm and will take place at the District Service Center.
