ABERDEEN, S.D.(Hub City Radio)- The Brown County Commission will hold their meeting on Tuesday at the Courthouse.

Items on the agenda include:

The commission will hear from Dennis Jones & David Ochs regarding the Womens Building at the Fairgrounds.

Following that the Brown County Comission will vote whether to put that on surplus.  They will update the asbestos study that was scheduled to be done last week.

Weekly Richmond Dam update.

The Commission will hold a 2027 Budget hearing.

The meeting begins at 8:45AM and is open to the open the general public.

One other note, next week is the 2026 South Dakota County Convention which will be in Sioux Falls on Tuesday & Wednesday, September 15th & 16th.  Normally during that week, the commission normally don’t have a meeting scheduled for that week.
