ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce’s Chamber Connections Series continued Thursday at the K.O.Lee Public Library.
One of the feature speaker was Dr. Amy Novak, President of St. Ambrose University based in Davenport, I.A. to share the legacy of the Presentation Sisters and the impact on labor force across the region.
Novak discuss the commitment Presentation Sisters has had with the nursing program at St. Ambrose since Presentation College closed in 2023.

Presentation Sisters was founded in Ireland back in 1775 with the focus on secret schools for Catholic children barred from being educated. They moved to the Dakota Territory in 1880 which led to their first school in Aberdeen.
