ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Thursday’s Chamber Connections Series at the K.O.Lee Library dealt with a report about Demkota Ranch Beef from Vice President of Human Resources Mark Stammer.

Stammer talks about where they get the majority of cattle comes from.

When it came to the Q&A portion, a number of citizens asked about the issue of the rendering that has been in place since 2023. That has lead to an odor issue within the city of Aberdeen.  Stemmer addressed the topic.

Stammer discuss how that can come about from the plant.

Stammer talks about another way this can be done is through human error.

Stammer express concerns addressed the people about trying to get to 0% chance which he believes is realistically not possible.

Aberdeen Mayor Travis Schaunaman offered up a suggestion which Stemmer said they will look into.
