Recap of Thursday’s Chamber Connections Series

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- This Thursday’s Chamber Connections Series was held at the K.O.Lee Library Thursday. Dacotah Prairie Museum Director Patricia Kendall talked about the history and updates about the museum that was established in Aberdeen back in 1970.

Kendall talks about about how many tourists visit the museum on a typical year.

Kendall discuss the upcoming future of the museum.  She discuss the upcoming Buntrock exhibit which is set to arrive in November.

Due to the size and the time to get that exhibit setup, the museum will be closed from November 10th-22nd.

Kendall update on the potential expansion of the museum and the parking needed for that.

Kendall also talks about in 2026 opening up the time capsule that is located at Melgaard Park.
