Highway 46 in SE South Dakota to get an upgrade

IRENE, S.D.(WNAX)- A contract has been awarded for another major highway construction project in southeast South Dakota. Grass fires on the rise in SE South Dakota

YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- Dry grass and brush and little precipitation have had fire departments on the move. Yankton Assistant Fire Chief Larry Nickels says they had more calls yesterday.
