ABERDEEN, S.D. (aberdeennews.com) – Brown County commissioners have agreed to impose quiet hours during the Brown County Fair.
This decision was made at the commission’s March 17 meeting. The decision sets a policy that quiet hours begin at midnight and go until 7 a.m.
Fair Manager Derek Ricci proposed the hours at a previous commission meeting and was asked to review contracts to ensure the change wouldn’t conflict with any conditions. Ricci told commissioners that the contracts only specify that alcohol can be served until 1 a.m., which isn’t changing.
