It’s been a rainy past few days in South Dakota.

National Weather Service meteorologist Scott Doering (door-ing) says some areas of the state needed the moisture.

Unlike states to the south of us, Doering says South Dakota didn’t have severe storms or tornadoes with this round of rainfall.

Doering says the Pierre area has received more moisture this month than it typically gets in April.
