Rally held in Fort Pierre Tuesday & Aberdeen Thursday opposing IM27

FORT PIERRE, S.D.(KCCR)- A grassroots effort working to defeat Initiated Measure 27 brought their effort to Fort Pierre Tuesday.  I-M 27 would legalize adult-use marijuana and Protecting South Dakota Kids is looking to stop it.  Ed Moses is a retired law enforcement professional with 41 year in the field.  Moses says marijuana is political medicine.

Moses told the crowd of less than 20 marijuana targets the brain.

Protecting South Dakota Kids Chair Jim Kinyon says the issue of legal marijuana is no longer a debate.

Kinyon urged those in attendance to take envelopes to raise funds for the campaign and to take the information presented to educate whoever they can in Protecting South Dakota Kids effort to oppose I-M 27.

The rally that was held on Thursday in Aberdeen at Sacred Heart Church.  Kinyon & Moses also spoke in that event.

Senator Al Novstrup talks about his opposition to IM27 because of the punishment that exist in the measure for those under the age of 21.
