ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – Today marks the day where people all over the country honor veterans who have served our nation.

While Veterans Day is set aside to recognize those individuals, one local man is doing everything he can to help veterans.

Chris Reder is Founder and CEO of DTOM22/0 Veterans Ranch. He understands the issues that many veterans are facing and is trying to provide assistance.

Reder has established a ranch for veterans located 2 1/2 miles north of Warner. This past year, the facility added a therapeutic horse.

The goal is to build a lodge at the ranch, however more funds need to be raised.

Reder said it is important to remember those who have served throughout the year, not just on one particular day.
