RAPID CITY, S.D.(KOTA) An arrest has been made regarding a string of intentionally lit fires in Rapid City between December and January.

68-year-old Rapid City resident Raymond (An-Drew-yef-Ski) Andrzejewski was placed under arrest Monday.

Community Relations Specialist for the Rapid City Police Department Brendyn Medina said the fires were focused in the West Boulevard area.

Authorities arrested Andrzejewski after tying him to four fires.

Medina said RCPD works closely with the Rapid City Fire Department to close arson cases like these.

Andrzejewski made his first court appearance Wednesday.
