OELRICHS, S.D. (Press Release) – A Rapid City, S.D. man has been identified as the victim in a one-vehicle crash that occurred Sunday night east of Oelrichs.

A 2001 Honda Accord was westbound when the vehicle left the roadway, went into the south ditch and rolled.

Brandon Campbell, who was the 25-year-old driver, was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 27-year-old passenger, Kelly Campbell of Custer, S.D., was wearing a seat belt. He suffered serious non-life threatening injuries and was transferred to a Rapid City hospital.

South Dakota’s Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash. All information is only preliminary at this point.
