RAPID CITY, S.D.(KOTA)- Following the discovery of a body with signs of trauma consistent with homicide on Tuesday, Rapid City Police Department community relations specialist Brendyn Medina said the Criminal Investigations Division has kept busy.
The investigation remains in the early stages, meaning information about the crime is sparse at this time. Medina said the body was found during a welfare check.
Medina said Antoine Bissonette has been named as a person of interest in the case, who remains at large at this time.
The investigation is active and continues. Anyone with information regarding Bissonette’s whereabouts should call the Rapid City Police Department.
