Rapid City Police respond to shooting Thursday morning

RAPID CITY, S.D.(KBHB) – Rapid City Police responded to a shots fired call Thursday morning.

Captain James Johns says they responded to the 1700 block of North Maple at approximately 5:00 a.m. to a call of shots fired.

Calling it a ‘significant event,’ Johns says there are a lot of kids in the neighborhood and that makes this a dangerous situation.

Johns says they have not received any reports of anyone being shot.
