ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Aberdeen City Council voted Monday night to keep Main Street one-way.

Businessman Brent Fischer who was gathering petitions to put two-way Main to a vote by the people reacted.

Fischer felt the whole process could have been communicated better by the council.

Fischer despite disagreeing with Executive Director Alexa Sheldon on the project still has high regards for her.

Aberdeen Mayor Travis Schaunaman was asked whether communication could have been better from the council.

According to the council, unofficially anywhere between 1,500-2,000 signatures were gathered by the petitioners to place it for a vote.
