Recap of Alzheimer’s Disease seminar held at the Senior Center

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Thursday, the South Dakota chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association did a seminar at the Aberdeen Senior Center.  The focus was on brain health.

Program Director Michelle Kutner provided a preview of the presentation.

Kutner comment on the importance of sleep.

Kutner discuss the impact smoking has on the brain.

Kutner talk about how coping with stress or mental health impact the brain.

Kutner talk about being physically active.

Kutner express the importance of healthy eating.

Kutner comment on challenging the brain on a daily basis.

Reminder, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s is coming up tomorrow at the Strode Center.  Registraton to begin at 9AM with the walk itself beginning at 10AM.
