ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The third of four cracker barrels was held inside the Barnett Center on the campus of NSU on Saturday. Members from Districts 3 & 23 were present for the event.
District 23 Senator Bryan Breitling look ahead to what the Joint Committee on Appropriation will be working on this week.
District 3 Senator Al Novstrup talked about a bill dealing with discipline for repeat juvenile offenders.
Novstrup also talked about HB1080 which he was the prime sponsor for the Senate.
District 3 Representative Brandei Schaefbauer update what the Health & Human Services Committee will be working on this week.
District 3 Representative Carl Perry looks ahead to the various tax cut that’s in the works.
One of the bills being discuss HB1234 which deals with vouchers for private schooling. District 23 Representative Scott Moore, who is on the House Education Committee express his opposition.
Senator Novstrup talks about he’s in favor of this bill.
Representative Perry was listed as a sponsor for this bill. He explains why that even though he is a sponsor doesn’t mean he will support it.
Senator Breitling believes a tax cut will take but not sure which one at this time.

Legislators return to Pierre this week for a four day session.
